In 1976, Gladys Herrera de Chaar, a visionary woman with a passion for cooking, decided to share with the world the culinary secrets she had inherited from her family.
Inspired by the Arabic traditions of her husband, José Chaar Haddad, Gladys began making quibbes, milk pies and other delicacies that soon became the delight of her community.
The combination of fresh ingredients, exotic spices and ancestral culinary techniques resulted in unique and authentic flavors that conquered demanding palates.
Over the time, Gladys’ small kitchen transformed into a thriving family business.
